About Me

me

Who I am…

My name is Lindsey Grossman and I’m a freelance writer and editor based in Asheville, North Carolina. I have eight years of experience in the communications industry, from magazines and newspapers to PR and marketing. I even had a brief, health insurance-induced career as a Starbucks barista (where I learned to make a mean double-tall-soy-extra-hot-no-foam-light-whip latte).

I’ve served as an editor for skirt! and an associate editor for Creative Loafing. Currently, I’m thrilled to be the editor-in-chief of Breathe, a healthy lifestyle magazine for active women.

… and what I can do for you.

Have you ever tried to explain a concept to someone but couldn’t quite put it into words? Or you’ve probably even said on occasion, “there are no words to describe it.” Well, I can. And there are. You shouldn’t feel bad about not being able to do this yourself. It’s no simple task… it’s just what I do. I love connecting with people through the written word and helping others do the same. Whether it’s a feature story for print or web copy for a small business, I can help you reel in all of your brilliant ideas and put them on paper (or on screen). I can also make you a damn good cup of coffee.
